The pantry is one of the major resources at UC Davis that has changed my life for the better. It’s really great being able to see the students that you’re helping,” said Rosa Maria Martinez, who graduated in 2018 with a degree in human development. “I really can’t envision myself doing anything else other than giving back to my community — how could you not give back to something that has sustained you throughout your entire life? I’m proud to be a first-generation student and to serve my community.”
