Carlee Johnson is a mental well-being Student Coordinator for Health Education and Promotion where she works to bring awareness to various aspects of mental well-being such as stress management, happiness and sleep habits. She hopes to create an open environment and dialogue among the campus community and serve as a resource to all students at UC Davis. “I hope that I’m helping to reduce the stigma around talking about mental health through the initiatives I take part in,” she said. “They might seem like simple things but I think anything you do can definitely normalize that conversation. I’m glad to be on a campus that recognizes how important student mental health is.”
