Dr. Adewale (Wale) Osipitan (he/him) is a postdoctoral researcher with the Department of Plant Sciences and Chair of the UC Davis Postdoctoral Scholars Association (PSA). As a postdoc, Wale is involved in research, outreach, and teaching activities that focus on weed science and management. As chair of the PSA, he oversees association activities, including the provision of resources, information, and representation for UC Davis postdocs. Wale is a member of the UC Davis Graduate Council, providing recommendations on numerous matters germane to graduate affairs. He is dedicated to promoting the postdoctoral community at UC Davis to improve the quality of life in areas around research, teaching and networking activities. Wale completed his Ph.D. at Kansas State University and his Masters in Science at the Federal University of Agriculture, Nigeria.
